BURN AFTER READING / ARAMIZDA CASUS VAR (?!)Film kadro olarak muhteşem. John Malkovich, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton ve sürpriz isimler. Bu kadar dolu bir kadroyu görünce yapımın da en az bir Ocean’s serisi kadar cazip olabileceğini düşünüyorsunuz. Ancak baştan belirtmeliyim ki, önyargılı olmak, eğer öznyargınız pozitifse, maalesef filmin artık gelişme bölümünü, yani 50. dakikaları arşınlarken moralinizi bozmaya başlıyor. Film adeta tüm bu saydığım oyuncuların ilk filmlerinde bir araya geldikleri ve acemilik senaryosu olabilecek bir yönetmenin ışığında rol aldıkları yapıtları andırıyor. Gerçekten bir Macar veya İngiliz kara mizahı izler havasında, ekranda George’u ve Brad’i görmek, belleğinize seyir boyunca amnezi yaşatıyor. Ben nerdeyim? Bu film kaç senesinin? Amma da Hollywood oyuncularına benzemiş bu Avrupalılar… gibi içsel yorumlara sebebiyet veriyor.
Bunlar benim görüşlerim, ama 28 Kasım’da sinemalarda gösterime girecek olan filmi gidip izlemek isteyenlere tavsiyem şu olur: Ben filmi indirdim, hem de kaliteli çekim. Eğer ‘’sinema salonunda olmazsam kurtlanırım’’ demiyorsanız arkadaşlarım, ben size seve seve CD yaparım, ya da flashlarınıza atarım.

An ousted CIA official’s (John Malkovich) memoir accidentally falls into the hands of two gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) intent on exploiting their find. George Clooney and Tilda Swinton also star. A disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent ends up in the hands of two unscrupulous gym employees who attempt to sell it.
Here are some fun reviews:· The word "fuck" is uttered 60 times, including 6 times in the first 2 minutes.
· A critic, probably with bad digestion, has decried this "very black comedy set in a blanched, austere-looking Washington, D.C. — an uninspiring and uncomfortable place in which everyone betrays eve
ryone else, and the emotional tone veers from icy politeness to spitting rage and back again." If I had a chance to think, instead of enjoying "Burn," I would have contemplated Molière and Evelyn Waugh, their comedies of manners, psychological insight, and unbridled great humor.· Others may lead the cast list with George Clooney and Brad Pitt, but to me, their performances were just a bit on the self-conscious side, trying too hard. At any rate, it's a great cast, and while the plot might have turned into a dud in somebody else's treatment, the Coen Brothers' writing is hilarious, their zingers deadly.
